Governments, UN entities, intergovernmental organizations, civil society and volunteer-involving organizations, private sector and philanthropies, academia and think tanks, community-based groups and volunteers are invited to engage in the evidence gathering and consultation processes leading up to the Global Technical Meeting 2020.

• A collective commitment to position volunteering as one of the people-driven solutions to achieving the SDGs;
• Unite the global community through renewed partnerships in support of the next-generation volunteering;
• Create a sense of urgency to integrate volunteering in the Decade of Action for the SDGs.
